21CN is BT’s new unified (primarily) Ethernet network for everything. All calls, broadband, everything will go over it.
They’re rolling the network out over the next few years. End users won’t notice any difference immediately. However, as part of the 21CN roll-out, BT are also rolling out ADSL 2+, which is capable of up-to 24 Mbps.
My exchange is one of those in the ADSL 2+ trial, so I thought I’d sign up and have a go. Line got installed this morning.
Confused: what’s the point of it?
What’s the point of the trial or the installation of an extra line?
What’s the point of 21CN? I don’t get what it is. Is it some sort of faster internet connection?
