My first article for the open source software news website, Newsforge, was published today. In it, I describe some of things that we learnt in organising LugRadio Live 2005 and talk about my view that we need far more community-focused events in the open source world.
I’m particularly pleased to be on Newsforge as it’s one of the sites that I’ve been reading since I first became interested in Linux. Provided I find time, and make proposals they like, I hope to have a few more articles on there in the future.
The latest LugRadio was also published today. In it, we interview Sony’s Sarah Ewen about Linux on the Playstation, Edward Hervy of PiTiVi video editor renown and our conversation eventually descends into one of the most bizarre moments of LugRadio yet.
